Job Description
- Loading transporting and delivering goods to customers recipients and stations safely and on time.
- Checking orders before and after delivery to ensure that names and addresses are within its coverage area.
- Ensuring all items to be delivered or picked up are safe and free from damage. Reporting any discrepancies to the Station Head if found.
- Ensuring that the names and addresses on the items to be collected or delivered match the actual person and location in the system.
- Collecting payment for cash-on-delivery (COD) items upon delivery if applicable. Ensuring that collected COD matches the system.
- Ensuring that all COD money collected from customers is managed by the Station Head/Fleet Assistant every day - To contact customers before failed deliveries.
- Complying with designated routes and adhering to schedules.
- Complying with all transportation laws and maintaining safe driving records.
