About us:
Northern Rivers Community Gateway has been delivering the Rainbow Region Kids (RRK) Outside School Hours Care program for many years. Our well-established accredited and child-centred program provides before school care after school care and vacation care across multiple locations throughout the Northern Rivers.
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Coordinator to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our RRK this leadership role you will supervise and support a team of Assistant Coordinators and educators ensuring the delivery of safe inclusive and engaging programs for primary school-aged children.

About the Role
Oversee multiple Rainbow Region Kids services as the Nominated Supervisor Responsible Person and Educational Leader
Lead mentor and support a team of Assistant Coordinators and educators to meet regulatory requirements and quality standards
Develop implement and monitor programming aligned with the My Time Our Place framework
Coordinate rostering staff development WHS compliance and budgeting in collaboration with the Senior Manager - Business Support
Liaise with families schools community organisations and external agencies to support child wellbeing and inclusion
Facilitate regular staff meetings including weekly Assistant Coordinator meetings and monthly all staff meetings at the Lismore Head Office
Working Hours and Flexibility
35 hours per week Monday to Friday
Core hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch break (negotiable)
Regular travel required across Rainbow Region Kids service locations in the Northern Rivers
Motor vehicle provided with reasonable private use permitted under organisational policy
This role requires availability between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm to respond to urgent operational matters or support staff as needed. An additional allowance is payable where the employee is required to undertake work outside their contracted hours.

What Were Looking For
Relevant Diploma or Degree qualification and/or 3 years experience in a similar Out of School Hours Care coordination role
Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework My Time Our Place and Family Assistance Law
Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
Proven ability to coordinate programming compliance rostering and service operations
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience with OWNA or similar childcare management systems (desirable)
Sound understanding of WHS child safety and inclusion practices in education and care settings
Additional Requirements
Current NSW Working with Children Check
National Police Check
Current NSW Driver Licence
First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (or willingness to obtain)
Approved Child Protection and Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain)
Willingness to be appointed as Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader across multiple sites
