Job Description
Project/Program:
WCB Business Process Reengineering
Support ongoing improvements and enhancements to the Insurance
Compliance applications (IC2).
Day-to-Day Tasks:
Gather and document business requirements.
Write technical specifications document process flows and data flows.
Design develope test and implement software solotions.
Review code and test results of other programmers.
Create database objects like tables views stored procedures functions and indexes.
Coordinate and conduct Unit System and Stress testing.
Helpdesk Tickets (Day to Day questions and issues).
Changes requested from the Business Users.
Mandatory Qualification:
Software Architect -
Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards
including software coding standards tools and platforms. Designs
multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale
software system.
Expert -
84 months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams
and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top
of his/her field.
Requested Qualifications:
- 84 months experience writing PowerBuilder Code.
- 24 months experience writing PowerBuilder Code specifically using Version 10.5
- 48 months experience with databases including designing Tables Triggers Stored Procedures and writing SQL.
- 60 months experience with gathering requirements and creating design
documents.
- 60 months experience with projects that followed a Project Management methodology.
