Host / Hostess (Season 2026)

At Santa Marina a Luxury Collection Resort Mykonos every guest experience is thoughtfully crafted and every team member plays a key role in delivering exceptional service. As aHost / Hostess you will play an essential role in shaping our guests dining experience using your smile warmth and approachable attitude to create a welcoming environment that leaves a lasting impression.

In this role you will balance refined guest interaction with operational efficiency ensuring seamless seating smooth guest flow and personalized service. Working closely with the Culinary and Service teams you will help elevate every dining moment contributing to an experience that reflects the sophistication elegance and service excellence of the Luxury Collection brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism creating a gracious and memorable first impression
  • Manage reservations waitlists and seating arrangements efficiently ensuring optimal flow and minimal waiting times
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide clear guidance and information about the restaurant and its offerings
  • Present menus and communicate daily specials with clarity
  • Liaise closely with service and culinary teams to ensure smooth coordination and accurate guest service delivery
  • Recognize VIP guests accommodating special requests with discretion and personalized attention
  • Monitor table turnover and guest movement proactively to maintain service excellence during peak periods
  • Handle guest inquiries comments and concerns professionally ensuring timely resolution and guest satisfaction
  • Handle incoming calls and reservation systems accurately ensuring all details are properly recorded
  • Support sustainability initiatives and assist guests with special needs where required



Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Host/Hostess front-of-house or guest service role preferably within a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English additional languages are a strong advantage
  • Knowledge of reservation management systems is a plus
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm guest-oriented approach
  • High attention to detail and professional presentation
  • Team player with a proactive positive attitude and commitment to service excellence
