Job Summary

Silver Lake Schools (USD 372) is seeking a dynamic and motivated High School Business Teacher for the school year. This position offers an exciting opportunity to teach foundational business courses while guiding students through real-world entrepreneurial experiences.

The successful candidate will teach a range of business classessuch as introductory business marketing and entrepreneurshipand will manage two thriving student-run enterprises:

Golden Eagle Bank a student-operated financial institution.
Eagle Pride Printing a t-shirt and custom apparel business.

These programs provide hands-on learning opportunities and connect classroom instruction to practical business management and community service.

Qualifications:

Kansas teaching license with a Business or Business Education endorsement (or eligibility to obtain).
Strong communication organizational and leadership skills.
A passion for developing student leadership career skills and real-world business knowledge.
Experience in business operations entrepreneurship or school-based enterprise management preferred.

Position Details:

Full-time teaching position
