ABOUT INUVIALUIT REGIONAL CORPORATION (IRC)
IRC was created in 1984 to represent the Inuvialuit and their rights and benefits obtained under one of Canadas oldest comprehensive land claim agreements. With assets over $1 billion not including vast land holdings IRC is responsible for corporate investment land management and a broad range of social cultural and economic programs and services benefiting Inuvialuit. Its subsidiaries have interests in grocery manufacturing property management transportation and significant dealings in the oil and gas industry.

ABOUT INUVIALUIT DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (IDC)
The IDC Administration team supports IDCs strategic direction investment planning and management of its existing companies. The department works closely with leadership to ensure operations align with IDCs long-term goals and value creation strategies.
JOB SUMMARY
The Junior Strategy Analyst (Post-Secondary Student) supports the Strategy & Value Creation team in conducting research financial analysis and business planning activities that drive IDCs strategic initiatives. The role is ideal for a student enrolled in a business economics or finance-related program who demonstrates analytical ability curiosity and attention to detail.
The position will work alongside the Director and team members to develop market insights analyze investment opportunities and assist with strategic reporting and presentations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be/have:
- Between 15 and 30 years of age (funding eligibility requirement).
- Currently a 3rd or 4th year student in Business Finance or a related program.
- Strong work ethic and high attention to detail.
- Robust analytical mindset and adept problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Hands-on experience building financial models in Excel and conducting financial analysis.
- Ability to work independently manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Understanding of Inuvialuit history and culture and an interest in Northern economic development
