Pinecrest Supports and Services Center specializes in the treatment of people with comorbid intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical behavioral and psychiatric support needs.

Pinecrest Supports & Services Center (PSSC) is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Analystto join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality care and coordination of nursing services across our programs.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING COMPETENCIES:

Minimum Qualifications

Three years of human resources experience; OR

Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR

A bachelors degree.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:

Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

  • Serves as technical specialist for Payroll.
  • Runs reviews and interprets LaGov HCM reports and payroll policies and procedures for compliance according to PSSC Office for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities (OCDD) Louisiana Department of Hospitals (LDH) Civil Service and Office of State Uniform Payroll (OSUP) guidelines.
  • Determines potential errors affecting pay and benefits for employees. Processes prior period adjustments submitted by Time Administrators. Advises and assists HR Supervisors and HR Analysts to ensure corrections have been entered.
  • Analyzes and maintains payroll related data in HCM including functions such as leave usage and accrual recoupment of overpayments optional pay retirement enrollment Workers Compensation Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and tax withholding. Reviews suspensions reductions in pay garnishments HCM.
  • Assists in analyzing Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT) returns and notifies employee and analyst of corrective action. Processes deceased employee checks. Verifies employment for garnishments and sends completed documentation to OSUP for setup; advises employees with questions concerning garnishments.
  • Serves as technical specialist for Workers Compensation (WC) program.
  • Consults with employees supervisors managers and department heads pertaining to WC. Receives and responds to WC adjustor inquiries after claims are entered into the Office of Risk Management (ORM) Claim Capture system.
  • Authorizes initial medical treatment with health care providers on all injured employees requiring treatment. Maintains individual confidential WC files. Prepares documents and enters leave buy-back amounts and corresponding wage adjustments into HCM for WC checks. Maintains WC database for checks issued and wage type reimbursement.
  • Provides wage information to ORM or private provider. Calculates average weekly wage to determine indemnity pay. Verifies indemnity pay for accuracy conferring with ORM or private provider if errors are detected. Monitors benefits distribution and leave balances. Contacts employees to resolve problems.

The maximum salary for the Human Resources Analyst Speicalist is $96533. Compensation:This position has a Special Entrance Rate:

This position also receives Additional pay options.

Human Resources Analyst A: $17.43hr. - $33.08hr.

Human Resources Analyst B: $18.64hr. - $35.40hr.

Human Resources Analyst C: $20.60hr. - $40.53hr.

Human Resources Analyst Sp.: $22.77hr. - $46.41hr.
