Design Optimization Engineering Lead

• Evaluate technical aspects of savings opportunities to ensure the highest value and lowest risk projects are pursued
• Directly create markups author test plans perform testing and submit change requests.
• Collaborate with CAD technicians test departments and other engineering specialties to ensure the successful completion of the project
• Align with supply chain as the primary customer for priorities and deliverables.
• Create and communicate dashboards of cost savings status to stakeholders
• Support proof of concept evaluation and testing of cost savings opportunities on new product development

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering product development or sustaining engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of engineering change processes and product lifecycle management.
• Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in authoring test plans and performing validation testing.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Familiarity with supply chain processes and cost modeling.

• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a global environment.
• Experience working in multiple discipline engineering teams.
