The SPE Information Security departmentis responsible forall aspects concerning the Confidentiality Integrity and Availability of information and data assets belonging to Sony Pictures Entertainments various Lines of Business and Affiliates globally.
Primary responsibilities for the team in EMEA are delivery of the Global Information Security program providing Risk visibility and helping business stakeholders make informed risk decisions throughout the business as well as Incident Response Information Governance Policy and Compliance Training and Awareness and Cyber Threat Intelligence.
There is also a high volume of involvement with the security of Content and Operations at the various TV Production companies which form part of SPEs business and Motion Picture productions whichfrequentlyoperateboth within the UK and elsewhere within the region.
Participating as an extension of the core team based in the US the intern rolesupports and complements thesmall existingUK based contingent.Covering aspects of Information Security such as Risk Policy/Compliance Training & Awareness Incident Response and Threat Intelligence this is aprimarilynon-technical role which does howeverbenefitfrom agood technical ability.
Working with various tools systems and processes and engaging with a variety of different business units affiliates and partnerorganizationsthere is an intention to give a broad exposure to the different facets of SPEsbusiness as well as the multiple proactive and reactive ways in which weseek to secure and protect ourcompaniesvaluable data assets.
Deliverables willlargely consistofproducing reports assessments data gathering andstatisticcollation but also participation in development of processes and procedurescollaboration with related teams (Privacy Safety/Security Legal etc.)andsessions to build engagement and awareness withother parts of the business including Sales/Distributionand Productions delivering both TV and Motion Picture content in the UK andthroughoutEMEA.

- Coaching and mentoring from experienced experts throughout the organisation

- Knowledge of Network architecture (routers switches and load balancers).
- Knowledge of Security technologies (firewalls IDS/IPS/UTM advanced endpoint security AV FIM).
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows OS X Linux and UNIX).
- Knowledge of Application Security Vulnerability Scanners and Penetration Testing.
- Knowledge of Cloud computing platforms (PaaS IaaS SaaS)
- Asks the right questions to analyse and simplify complex problems
- Curious to learn and happy to take on new challenges
- Good analytical research and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with technical and non-technical teams across multiple businesses; written verbal presentation and interpersonal skills.
