THE ROLE
We are looking for a #TechTalent to work as a Infrastructure Engineerfor a international project in the insurance sector.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
- Act as the midpoint for support escalations bridging the gap between frontline support and infrastructure engineering.
- Take ownership of escalated issues from the support team ensuring thorough investigation and resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes.
- Create and maintain KBAs to document resolutions and promote knowledge sharing.
- Attend and contribute toproblem managementmeetingsandchange advisory boards (CABs)to ensure infrastructure stability and governance.
- Cross-train internal teams andoutsourced helpdesk/support teamson resolved issues to prevent recurrence and improve first-time resolution rates.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience in escalation management and issue resolution.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of Windows Server/Desktop environments.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure IaaS PaaS).
- Experience with SQL-based databases.
- Familiarity with Office 365 administration and scripting (PowerShell).
- Comfortable working directly with users at all levels including executives.
- Experience supporting and resolving issues on end-user devices.
- Ability to cross-train and communicate technical solutions to non-technical teams.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
