The company is developing an application built on a Symfony foundation and delivered as a Progressive Web App (PWA). They are reinforcing their development team for a short-term high-impact mission to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of the frontend layer. This role plays a critical part in building stabilizing and optimizing the Angular application during a defined delivery window.
Role Purpose & Success Outcomes
Purpose:
Own and deliver the Angular frontend of a Symfony-based PWA application ensuring performance reliability and production readiness during the mission period.
Success outcomes:
- Angular application meets agreed functional and performance benchmarks
- PWA features are implemented correctly and work reliably across target environments
- Frontend integrates cleanly with the Symfony 7.4 backend
- Codebase is maintainable well-structured and aligned with team standards
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain frontend features using Angular 19
- Implement and optimize Progressive Web App (PWA) functionality
- Integrate frontend components with a Symfony 7.4 backend
- Ensure performance responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
- Collaborate closely with backend developers and the wider dev team
- Identify and resolve frontend issues bugs and performance bottlenecks
- Contribute to code reviews and uphold frontend quality standards
Candidate Profile
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field nice-to-have
Professional Experience
- Senior-level experience as an Angular developer
- Proven experience delivering production-grade PWAs
- Hands-on experience working with or integrating into Symfony-based applications
Technical Skills
- Required: Angular 19
- Required: Strong experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWA)
- Required: Symfony 7.4 integration experience
- Familiarity with frontend performance optimization nice-to-have
Knowledge Domain
- Frontend architecture for modern web applications
- PWA standards offline strategies and caching mechanisms
- Frontendbackend integration patterns in Symfony environments
Working Style & Culture
- Comfortable working in short-term delivery-focused missions
- Able to operate autonomously while collaborating closely with a dev team
- Clear communicator in technical discussions in English
