Position
Internship Opportunity for Unemployed Graduates in the Environmental Sustainability Department
Introduction
An opportunity exists for an unemployed learner to participate in an internship within the Environmental and Sustainability field. The project aims to provide the opportunity for unemployed learners who have successfully completed their Environmental Management and ESG-related qualifications and to gain work experience in line with the qualifications.
The learner must be a graduate of a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Environmental Management/Sciences and ESG or related qualification and will be based at the Life Healthcare Head office in Dunkeld Johannesburg for a period of 12 months.
Critical Outputs
The internships entail the following:
The interns will gain experience in the following functions: -
- ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Implementation
- Environmental Legal Compliance
- Sustainability Data reporting and analysis
- Environmental Training and Awareness
- ESG reporting
The internship will be registered with HWSETA. Learners will receive a stipend of R 6000 per month for 12 months.
Duties and responsibilities- Learners must be unemployed to qualify for this project.
- Learners interested in environmental management/ESG must have completed an environmental management/environmental science/ESG diploma/degree
- Only South African citizens under the age of 35 will be considered.
- Learners must have completed their qualification to participate in this project.
