  • EOI OPPORTUNITY Senior Team Leader Environmental Water Programs (EO12) Temporary full-time (35 hours per week) opportunity up to May 2026
  • Newcastle office location upon negotiation across NSW hybrid working supported
  • Salary relative to experience and ranges from $152677 pa to $167562 pa super


Expressions of interest are invited for an EOI opportunity as Senior Team Leader (EO12) in the Environmental Water Programs team Water for the Environment Branch commencing Monday 30 March 2026 to Friday 8 May 2026.

About the role
You will lead a diverse and capable program team to develop and deliver key outputs that contribute to delivery of the Gwydir Reconnecting Watercourse Country Program. The team are highly experienced and work in sub-teams focused on stakeholder engagement ecological assessment and monitoring program coordination physical and operational measures delivery and construction of physical works.

To be successful in the role you will need to:

  • be an effective communicator with a proven ability to establish productive working relationships
  • be comfortable managing a large program with challenging deadlines and competing demands
  • have good collaboration skills and project management experience
  • have experience managing staff to deliver results.


Essential Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience
