Assistant Nurse Manager - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Full Time 80 hrs/pay
Shifts: 8-hour or 10-hour Day/Evening shifts with some Night shifts as well.

ChristianaCare is currently seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit within our Womens & Childrens Service Line at Christiana this role the Assistant Nurse Manager not only assist in the clinical and administrative aspect of the department but will also work collaboratively with other units to ensure quality care for our ChristianaCare we have an 84-bed Level lll NICU. This position allows for greater autonomy in your practice as you advance your leadership skills. Responsibilities:
Supervises all nursing and technical personnel: Assesses competency of staff oversees daily staffing and scheduling needs of department evaluate staff performance counsel/coach staff member as needed.
Participates in hiring promotion and termination decisions.
Functions as role model demonstrating quality expertise and professional behaviors.
Directs mentors and supports all levels of staff.
Develops implements and monitors performance improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Identifies and develops strategies to improve the overall knowledge base and professionalism of staff.
Analyzes administrative and operational functions; implements appropriate changes and system wide improvements.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Nursing required.
Masters degree in a nursing healthcare or business management field required -or- currently enrolled to be obtained within 5 years of start date required
3-5 years appropriate clinical and leadership experience in specialty required
Professional certification in a related nursing specialty required
Current nursing licensure in the State of Delaware of compact state required

Annual Compensation Range $110177.60 - $176280.00
This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCares good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills relevant experience and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
