This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic direction with active content creation and editorial execution alongsidepeoplemanagement and team development.

As a strategic storyteller and team leader this role oversees the development of brand-aligned content and messaging across channelsand formats. They lead a team responsible for written and multimedia storytelling collaborating closely with the Marketing Campaign Manager Manager of Marketing Design Corporate Communications and Sales Enablement team to deliver cohesive on-brand communications.

This role is highly collaborative serving as the central connector between Brand Content Product Marketing Creative and other cross-functional partners ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment on messaging campaigns and content this role does not own the corporate brand strategy it plays a critical role in shaping how that strategy comes to life through messaging content and storytelling.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

Brand & Messaging Activation

  • Activate the companys brand strategy by crafting clear consistent and compelling messages that reflect our positioning and tone.

  • Partnerontheevolutionand maintenance of the companys brand voice and messaging frameworks in partnership with the Director Brand Marketing.

  • Champion brand purpose and storythrough consistent messaging acrossmarketing and corporate communications.

  • This role is a player-coach position responsible for both executing high-quality content and leading a small high-performing team.

Content Strategy & Development

  • Drive the planning creation and editing of high-quality contentincluding product messaging web copy customer stories video scripts and thought leadershipthat advances brand and businessobjectives.

  • Define and evolve content approaches that support key business initiatives campaigns and audiences.

  • Own the editorial calendar and set content priorities to align with company initiatives and campaign timelines.

  • Translate complex technical information into straightforward engaging content for customers partners and employees through effective stakeholder collaboration.

Team Leadership

  • Mentor and develop two direct reports: Content Specialist and Multimedia Manager fostering growth and excellence.

  • Unite written and visual storytelling disciplines to produce cohesive brand-aligned materials.

  • Provide creative and editorial direction actionable feedback and professional development support to strengthen team performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the glue between Brand Marketing Visual Design Campaigns and SalesEnablementtranslating priorities into clear usable messaging and content.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Campaign Manager to deliver campaigns and product initiatives that reflect consistent brand storytelling.

  • Develop customer-facing materials with Sales Enablement ensuring alignment with brand language and tone.

  • Pair strong visuals with compelling messaging in partnership with the Manager Marketing Design.

Governance & Optimization

  • Steward brand voice editorial guidelines and messaging frameworks andtrainteams in their effective use.

  • Edit and refine materials to deliver quality clarity and brand consistency.

  • Optimizecontent effectiveness and audience engagement by analyzing performance and informing ongoing improvementsbased on engagement clarity andeffectiveness.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will havedemonstratedsuccess in brand marketing content strategy and team leadership within dynamic cross-functional environments. Theypossessa unique blend of creativity strategic thinking and operational excellence.

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Journalism English or related field.

  • 68 years of experience incontent strategybrand messagingor marketing communications.

  • Exceptional writing editing and storytelling skills with proven ability to simplify complex topics.

  • Experience managing or mentoring creative or content teams.

  • Strong collaboration skills across creative technical and sales-driven functions.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities deadlines and stakeholder needs simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with content planning tools and project management platforms is a plus.

  • Experience working within the construction and building industry is a plus.

  • 5% domestic travel as necessary
