UW Medical Center-Northwest)BEHAVIORAL HEALTH (LTCC) LONG TERM CIVAL COMMITMENT has an outstanding opportunity for aCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Patient Care Technician (PCT)position.

SCHEDULE:

90% FTE - 36 hours per week

Night shift

No specific schedule

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct and indirect care to patients and their families under the general supervision of the Registered Nurse
Assist patients with activities of daily living: bathing showering dressing getting in and out of bed or a chair walking using the toilet and eating
Maintain a safe environment of care
Patient transportation
Prepare patients for surgery
Perform non-invasive lab procedures
Transport equipment and supplies
Assist with treatments
Perform various clerical tasks
Take vital signs

REQUIREMENTS

Current valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) with WA State (please indicate your NA-C credential number on your resume)
High School graduation and six months experience involving direct patient care or customer service in a health care setting; OR equivalent education/experience.
Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR card by start date

Compensation Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$28.23 hourly

Pay Range Maximum:

$41.00 hourly

Other Compensation:

$5000 Sign-On Bonus Evening Shift: $1.50 per hour Night Shift: $2.25 per hour Weekend Pay: $1.50 per hour
