About the Role:
This position is designed to strengthen and expand our social enterprise efforts by placing an entrepreneurial operator at the helm of a revenue generating business unit that directly supports our mission. The Social Enterprise Business Administrator will function with the autonomy and accountability of a small business owner while aligning with our organizational values compliance requirements and long term strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Business Operations 70%
Oversee day to day operations of the social enterprise
Build and refine systems workflows and quality standards
Lead hiring scheduling and employee development
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and service expectations
Budget & Financial Management 20%
Develop and manage the business units annual budget
Monitor revenue expenses and profitability
Create pricing structures quotes and cost analyses
Align financial decisions with organizational priorities
Client Facing & Bid Proposals 10%
Develop and maintain client relationships
Prepare and submit competitive bids for service contracts
Represent the enterprise in community and partner settings
Ideal Leadership Profile
Entrepreneurial operator with experience owning or managing a small business or franchise
Strong change agent capable of building systems and improving processes
Hands on manager with experience in staffing scheduling and service delivery
Financially savvy leader comfortable with budgets pricing and revenue targets
