Position Overview

A large full-service hospital in Florida is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join its Radiology team. This role involves performing high-quality CT imaging procedures across a diverse patient population while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety quality and efficiency.

Available Shifts

Evenings: 11:00 AM 11:00 PM (FridaySunday)
Mixed Shifts: 10-hour shifts with rotating weekends
Days: 10-hour shifts (weekends only)
Nights: 10-hour shifts with rotating weekends

Responsibilities

Perform CT and radiologic imaging procedures under the direction of a Radiologist
Operate CT imaging equipment independently exercising sound judgment and technical expertise
Apply prescribed ionizing radiation safely and effectively
Ensure patient safety comfort and proper positioning during examinations
Perform imaging procedures on patients ranging from neonate to geriatric populations
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to departmental protocols
Demonstrate professionalism initiative and commitment to imaging quality standards
Maintain readiness and cleanliness of imaging equipment and work areas

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience (acute care experience not required)
Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license required
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of start
ARRT (R) and CT registry preferred
