WHY THIS ROLES IS IMPORTANT TO US:

As our new Compliance Operations Specialist you will work closely together with the existing Compliance team to develop implement and oversee our compliance framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance to employees at all levels to ensure the organization stay compliant.

This role also offers a great opportunity to contribute to your own role based on your experience and interests within compliance.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Assisting with risk assessments to identify compliance risks across various business functions jurisdictions and legislations
• Collaborate closely together with internal stakeholders and the rest of Group Compliance to shape our compliance framework to the business
• Participate in activities to regularly monitor compliance activities across the organisation and assess their effectiveness
• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities
• Monitor completion of employee compliance requirements throughout the organisation
• Create planned and ad-hoc reporting and provide information on compliance topics and initiatives to various internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to the upkeep of repositories of laws and regulations and their applicability to SimCorps activities

WHAT WE VALUE

• Have a degree in law or areas within auditing or risk
• With a minimum of two to three years of experience in compliance within a global setting. Experience as in-house counsel is nice to have
• Have experience with relevant compliance topics such as market abuse sanctions conflict of interest etc. and are curious to learn about those topics you might be less familiar with
• Have good analytical skills with attention to details
• Have advanced English communication skills both verbally and in writing
• Have a good understanding of complex compliance cases and are able to balance the need for sound business advice with the need for maintaining a high standard of advice
• Solid interpersonal skills and an excellent sense of humor.

Other requirement:

• Amenable to work in EMEA time zone (3PM to 12AM PHT or 4 PM to 1AM PHT)
• 2x RTO per week
