Location: New Romney Kent
Salary: 33531 - 36360 (Inc. sleep-ins)
Working Hours: Full-time shifts including sleep-ins
Number of Sleeps Required: As per rota
Pay Per Sleep: 50 per night
Service: Childrens Home
Service Users: YPs aged 1018 SEMH Complex Needs Trauma
Qualifications Required: NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Childrens and Young People Workforce
Experience in Years Required: Minimum 2 years residential childcare experience
Employment Type: Permanent

The Home:

• Type of YPs: Children and young people with SEMH trauma and complex needs

• Ratio of staff to children: High staffing to meet individual needs

Who we are looking for

• Experienced caring and committed Senior Residential Support Worker

• Age 22 to meet Ofsted regulations

• NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People Workforce

• Minimum 2 years experience working in residential childcare with children/YPs

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence

• Leadership experience: staff supervision rota management risk assessments policies placement plans and educational support

• Ability to build positive long-term relationships with children

• Committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare

• You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (not deemed equivalent)

• Candidates with only HealthCare NHS CQC or Nursery Practitioner qualifications

• You require sponsorship no sponsorship available

Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Childrens Home will not be considered.
