Founded by The Sisters of Charity in 1857 our 30000 healthcare superheroes operate public and private hospitals residential aged care community and virtual care and outreach programs.

We are seeking candidates to join our surgical services teams across L5 and L3 Theatre complexes. This role can be casual or Full Time.

About the role

  • Provide support to the nursing team both Enrolled and Registered in the delivery of nursing care in an acute sub-acute care and surgical services team.

  • Tasks may include gathering of equipment simple wound dressing assisting clinicians with set ups of theatres.

  • Deliver person-centred evidence-based care in accordance with relevant standards and legislation.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

  • Engage in continuous quality improvement activities and contribute to a culture of safety and learning.

About you

  • Relevant Certificate III qualification in Acute Care only or 2nd year nursing student.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently under delegation and the ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.

  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.

  • Flexible availability -Monday to Friday.
