About this role

As an Executive Assistant in the Financial Advisory team you will play a key role in the effective day-to-day operations of the team and provide intuitive support displaying a high level of initiative multi-tasking and adapting quickly to last-minute change. You will proactively anticipate the needs of your stakeholders before and as they arise.

Please note that this is a maximum term contract opportunity ending Friday 18 December 2026.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide highlevel administrative support to three Partners and the broader Financial Advisory team

  • Manage inboxes calendars scheduling and meeting coordination

  • Complete client onboarding through CERA

  • Process Partner expenses in Concur

  • Organise team training sessions internal meetings and client / team events

  • Preparation and formatting of documents and correspondence in line with Grant Thornton brand guidelines

  • Manage and maintain databases and systems including regular updates in Salesforce CRM

  • Support monthly billing processes

  • Prepare and distribute bulk mailouts and communications

  • Provide general administrative and ad hoc support as required

Skills and experience

  • Previous experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant within a corporate or professional services environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a positive approach to teamwork and the ability to collaborate with and manage expectations of stakeholders at all levels

  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook PowerPoint Teams and Word
