Job Summary
An opportunity is available for an experienced professional to manage a portfolio of small to medium-sized business clients ensuring their group benefits programs are optimized and compliant. This role involves providing comprehensive A-Z servicing for medical and ancillary products including health dental vision life disability and voluntary benefits. The position is onsite and is ideal for individuals with a strong background in group benefits and client relationship management.
Compensation Package
- Base salary ranging from $100000 to $125000 with additional commission potential.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of group benefits clients ensuring their programs meet their needs and remain compliant with regulations.
- Lead annual renewals and open enrollment processes with a proactive approach avoiding automatic renewals.
- Address day-to-day service needs including eligibility claims billing compliance and employee inquiries with a focus on accuracy empathy and efficiency.
- Simplify and communicate benefits information effectively to employers and employees through engaging education sessions and ongoing support.
- Stay informed on ACA ERISA COBRA and other regulatory changes to ensure clients remain compliant and audit-ready.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Placement Producers and Technology to deliver seamless onboarding cross-selling opportunities and retention strategies.
Qualifications/Requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in group benefits servicing with a proven track record of managing small to medium-sized business clients.
- Active 2-20 insurance license.
- Strong knowledge of medical and ancillary products including health dental vision life disability and voluntary benefits.
- Expertise in ACA ERISA COBRA and other relevant regulations.
- Communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work onsite and thrive in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
