The Junior Production Assistant will support the production of video content for horseracing and report to the Video Content Manager.
Location: Hollywoodbets Kenilworth Racecourse and various Race Coast locations (on-site)
Type: Full-Time

- Card and Footage Management: Keeping a record of footage archive. Copying and formatting cards keeping everything neatly organised.
- Set Preparation: Assisting with setting up lights props and camera equipment.
- Production Coordination: Printing and distributing call sheets shot lists scripts and other production documents.
- Technical Support: Operate basic production equipment as needed. Upload footage to online storage and local storage.
- Maintaining Studio: Keeping the set organised and clean set up for shoots including managing lighting and equipment checks.
- Running onset errands: Assisting the team with whatever pops up next - because no two days look the same!
What Youll Need
- One (1) to three (3) years working experience in a similar role.
- Matric/ Grade 12/ Equivalent (required).
- A diploma or bachelors degree in motion design filmmaking digital film production marketing or relevant field (advantageous).
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office suite) (required).
- Experience in operating cameras and utilising Canva.
- Valid code 8 or 10 drivers license (required).
- Physical stamina with the ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
- The ability to work flexible hours including early mornings late nights weekends public holidays and race days.
- A clear criminal record.
- A meticulous individual with a keen eye for detail and excellent organisational administrative and time management skills.
- A proactive problem-solver who thrives under pressure and takes initiative.
- Knowledge of the sports culture and lifestyle sector.
- Flexible with the adaptability to multitask.
- Ability to work with little to no supervision.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in the completion of tasks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills where teamwork is essential with ability to clearly and effectively communicate with diverse crew members.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands.
- An individual who consistently meets deadlines.
- A professional who is creative and innovative.
- Basic knowledge of production terminology understanding industry jargon and procedures.
