Job Title

Infrastructure Engineer (Middle Level)

Company Overview

Our client is a fast-growing product-driven IT company developing a flagship UX analytics platform used by a global customer base. The engineering team consists of 15 talented IT engineers from more than 10 different countries working in self-reliant cross-functional Scrum teams.

They focus on building scalable high-performance systems using modern cloud technologies and data-driven approaches aiming to deliver simple solutions to complex problems while continuously adopting the latest tools and best practices.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Design provision and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

Continuously improve and operate EKS (Kubernetes) clusters including upgrades and workload deployment processes.

Identify potential infrastructure issues propose solutions and resolve problems in a structured manner.

Develop implement and maintain security policies procedures and controls.

Conduct security assessments vulnerability scans and support penetration testing activities.

Identify and mitigate security risks and infrastructure gaps.

Improve infrastructure reliability scalability and security through best practices.

Analyze industry trends and introduce more efficient infrastructure and DevOps processes.

Keep the technology stack modern and up to date.

Experience and Qualifications

Hands-on experience designing implementing and maintaining scalable AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform).

Experience with core AWS services such as S3 Glue EKS ECS and Lambda.

1 year of hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production environments.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools and workflows particularly GitHub Actions and Argo CD.

Strong understanding of DevOps best practices for secure and automated infrastructure and software delivery.

Experience working in Agile (Scrum-based) development environments.

Proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.

Intermediate-level English proficiency (listening speaking reading and writing).

Additional Preferred Qualifications

AWS and/or Kubernetes certifications.

Experience administering large-scale systems such as Apache Kafka Apache Cassandra and MySQL.

Experience building and optimizing data processing architectures using AWS GCP or Azure services.

Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus Grafana or ELK stack.

Experience in cloud and infrastructure cost optimization.

Knowledge of security technologies (firewalls IDS/IPS VPNs SIEM).

Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (CIS NIST ISO 27001 GDPR).

Experience using AI-related tools in infrastructure or security operations.

Linux/Unix system administration skills.

Programming experience in Python Java or other JVM-based languages.

Japanese language proficiency is a plus.
