Sr Mgr Supply Chain Mgmt Material Program Manager (MPM) needed for the Raytheon Short Medium Ground Air Defense(SMGBAD) product area. This role requires advanced/applied knowledge and experience developing cost reduction strategies for subcontracted systems critical supplier management material requirements planning (MRP) process project management subcontract management and proposal activities. Typically viewed as expert in multiple aspects of MRP this role requires broad knowledge of financial project and material management.

In this role you will apply your existing knowledge of Supply Chain material requirements planning and business acumen within a matrixed organization. You will develop a cost reduction strategy for the product line and lead a material program strategy/plan for programs or integrated product team. Additionally you will participate in proposals by developing and leading supply chain proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates and participating in gate review preparation and/or support activities and assists with the generation of Supplier Statement of Works (SSOW).

The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communications skills to influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of ones own job function as well as with parties external to the organization.

This position is an onsite position and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule.

What You Will Do:

• Developing a material cost reduction strategy for a development product line working closely with the matrix organization to execute the material cost reduction strategy
• Principles concepts industry practices and standards related to MRP planning systems (e.g. SAP Oracle and other next generation ERP systems)
• Working closely with Program Management Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) EngineeringQuality Production Control and Procurement to ensure successful supplier management and execution in supporting program needs and requirements
• Master Data MRP Scheduling and Material Sales Forecasting
• Customer Proposal generation
• Develop and execute Material Strategies which support Customer requirements and meet Program objectives
• Generating Supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFPs / RFQs)
• Financial management (i.e. EV budgets targets working capital proposals material sales forecasts etc.); overall ownership of the supplier management process (i.e. Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plan supplier performance metrics international issues develop/evaluate the make/buy strategy the Collaborative Agreement process etc.) and communication of customer flow-through requirements such as FAR/DFARS ITAR offset public law quality warranty etc.
• The MPM may act as the Control Account Manager.
• Issue/Conflict resolution within organizations between organizations and with suppliers
• Generate and manage Estimate At Completion (EAC) and Risk & Opportunities
• Willingness to Travel Domestically/Internationally as required

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
• Experience in developing Supply Chain strategies for cost reduction
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

• Advanced Microsoft Office skillset
• International Subcontracts experience

The salary range for this role is 132400 USD - 251600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
