Job Summary
Your work includes designing a scalable and dependable database system that connects and enriches data from many of our internal data providers in way that is consumable by Agentic AI workflows.
Key job responsibilities
Lead the research selection and development of the appropriate data mechanisms to scale to meet the data context needs of Proactive Security and Security Assurance programs to the ultimate goal of reducing the manual interaction between security and Amazon builders while maintaining a high security bar. Work closely with Software Engineers and Applied Scientists to leverage the latest generative AI models to solve complex data mapping problems and increase our data mapping coverage and reasoning capabilities.

- 3 years of building machine learning models for business application experience
- PhD or Masters degree and 6 years of applied research experience
- Experience programming in Java C Python or related language
- Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning
- Experience with modeling tools such as R scikit-learn Spark MLLib MxNet Tensorflow numpy scipy etc.
- Experience with large scale distributed systems such as Hadoop Spark etc.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
