Job Description:

We are seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer who will help drive our systems evolution to join our team The role will be an integral part of the Video Streaming and Engineering team working with video engineers to build deploy and operate infrastructure for various platforms like Desktop OTT and Mobile The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure supporting video encoding and delivery applications across AWS and GCP with increasing focus on OCI as our needs change This role will have ownership over critical infrastructure decisions lead migration efforts and help shape our multicloud strategy going forward

Your Day-to-day
Design build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP supporting video encoding transcoding and streaming workloads
Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters across AWS GCP and OCI
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform across multiple environments regions and cloud providers
Build and improve CICD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GCP Cloud Build
Implement GitOps workflows for application deployments using ArgoCD
Implement cross cloud networking authentication and Workload Identity integration patterns
Monitor and optimize cloud costs across AWS and GCP resources
Troubleshoot production issues across the stack networking DNS load balancers container orchestration
Collaborate with video engineers on encoding pipeline reliability and quality monitoring
Participate in on-call rotation for production streaming infrastructure
Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Key Projects
Optimize and scale our Kubernetes infrastructure across both cloud platforms
Implement cross cloud authentication and networking patterns
Build out observability and monitoring infrastructure using Prometheus Grafana New Relic and cloud native tooling
Work with development teams on re-architecture modernizing existing systems
Improve CICD pipelines and GitOps workflows for faster safer deployments
Enhance infrastructure documentation and runbooks for operational excellence

Qualifications
What you bring to the team
You have
5 years of experience in DevOps SRE or Infrastructure Engineering roles
Strong hands-on experience with GCP services GKE Compute Engine Cloud Storage IAM VPC Cloud Build
Production Kubernetes experience deploying scaling and troubleshooting GKE and/or EKS clusters
Experience with AWS services EKS EC2 Elastic ache RDS S3 IAM VPC
Proficiency with Terraform for multi-cloud infrastructure provisioning and management
Experience building CICD pipelines using GitHub Actions Cloud Build or similar tools
Solid Linux systems administration skills
Scripting and automation experience in Python Bash or Go
Understanding of networking fundamentals DNS load balancing VPC peering security groups
Experience with monitoring and observability tools Prometheus Grafana New Relic or similar
Strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Experience with GitOps tools ArgoCD Flux
Familiarity with video streaming infrastructure encoding pipelines or media workflows
Experience with GitHub Actions Runner Controller ARC or selfhosted runner management
Multi-region and multi-cloud deployment experience
Familiarity with Redis Memory store or Elastic ache at scale
Knowledge of HLSDASH streaming media standards
BS degree in Computer Science similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
