Job Summary
Looking for someone who can work on insurance/retirement systems and maintain backend applications using Linux scripting and legacy technologies like COBOL. The person should also be able to analyze system issues build solutions and support product development.
Primary & Secondary Responsibilities / Skills:
- Experience working with OmniPlus or similar insurance administration platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Linux Shell scripting for automation and system support.
- Experience with COBOL and VSAM for maintaining legacy backend systems.
- Ability to design enhance and support product/system architecture based on business requirements.
- Knowledge of retirement life insurance or annuity domain is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for complex system issues.
- Ability to collaborate with developers business teams and stakeholders to deliver product features.
