Compensation plans are based on a multi-step progression system. The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade.

The fundamental reason the jobexists is to perform a full range of specialized complex legal administrativeduties in support of the City legal staff. The work responsibilities includemonitoring legal proceedings and organizing case files and records; preparingcomplex legal and administrative documents; performing clerical duties andperforming administrative duties. Employees are expected to work independentlyand manage a large volume of legal support duties often under stringentdeadlines with competing priorities. Employees are privy to highly confidentialinformation with respect to the legal affairs of the City in which matters areprivileged and must remain confidential. The employee will report directly tothe City Attorney or her designee.
High School diploma or GED and three (3) years of responsible office administrationexperience which demonstrates full knowledge of office functions to includeprocessing department documentation record keeping and assisting supervisorsor managers with department functions and proficiency using computer softwarepackages such as Excel Adobe Acrobat Pro Word and Outlook.
