Student Worker Latin American and Latine Studies

Purpose/Objective of the Role:
To assist the Director of the Latin American and Latine Studies program (Andrea Colvin) with revising the website sharing information about the program student outreach and events.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Create / revise content for the website
- Create a flyer with information about the program
- Help with student outreach and recruitment
- Help organizing events
Qualifications:
The student must have:
- Interest in Latin America!
- Communicate well with students and professors
- Have very good writing skills
- Be responsible and professional
- Feel comfortable using Google Suite
- Have some experience with Canva (or similar applications) and/or be willing to learn.
Potential Future Career Benefit:
Gain soft skills such as interpersonal and intercultural communication time management verbal and written communication collaboration and organizational skills.
NOTE:
- Employment sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States
