Job Summary

Student Worker Latin American and Latine Studies

Number of Openings: 1

Purpose/Objective of the Role:

To assist the Director of the Latin American and Latine Studies program (Andrea Colvin) with revising the website sharing information about the program student outreach and events.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Create / revise content for the website
  • Create a flyer with information about the program
  • Help with student outreach and recruitment
  • Help organizing events


Qualifications:

The student must have:

  • Interest in Latin America!
  • Communicate well with students and professors
  • Have very good writing skills
  • Be responsible and professional
  • Feel comfortable using Google Suite
  • Have some experience with Canva (or similar applications) and/or be willing to learn.

Potential Future Career Benefit:

Gain soft skills such as interpersonal and intercultural communication time management verbal and written communication collaboration and organizational skills.

NOTE:
