Position Overview
The Warehouse Worker supports daily warehouse operations by assisting with the receipt storage and shipment of materials. This Warehouse Worker role involves operating forklifts and clamp trucks maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring shipments are processed efficiently and safely. The ideal Warehouse Worker is detail-oriented dependable and able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment where accuracy and organization are essential.
Required Experience & Skills
Ability to safely operate forklifts and clamp trucks
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Effective communication skills and attention to detail
Positive attitude with the ability to collaborate in a team environment
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced warehouse
Willingness to work overtime weekends or evenings when required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to support a safe and efficient work environment
Pick pack and prepare inventory accurately for outbound shipments
Perform shipping receiving and inventory control functions
Organize and maintain shipping documentation and warehouse records
Operate forklifts clamp trucks and other material handling equipment according to safety guidelines
Verify shipping orders for accuracy including quantity labeling and specifications
Re-palletize label and wrap shipments using shrink wrap or plastic binding when required
Communicate inventory discrepancies or shortages to supervisors or warehouse personnel
Support timely and accurate order fulfillment to maintain customer satisfaction
Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned by management
Preferred Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
12 years of warehouse distribution supply chain or transportation experience preferred
Ability to obtain and maintain forklift or clamp truck certification
