Job Summary
- Manage the end-to-end mortgage application process for clients from initial assessment through to post-settlement support.
- Analyse complex financial documents and borrower profiles to develop strategic lending solutions.
- Liaise with lenders underwriters and legal representatives to negotiate favourable loan conditions.
- Cultivate strong trusted client relationships through transparency and consistent communication.
- Provide clear advice on loan products risks and lending structures aligned with clients long-term goals.
- Stay up to date with lending policies market trends and regulatory changes impacting loan offerings.
- Prepare detailed loan summaries scenarios and strategic plans for complex lending cases.
- Troubleshoot application issues and propose strategic alternatives in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment through open dialogue constructive feedback and professional camaraderie.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Accounting or a related field is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in Australian mortgage broking home lending or financial advisory roles.
- Familiarity with major lending products policies and credit assessment procedures.
- Strong capability in reviewing and interpreting tax documents financial statements and credit reports.
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to manage client expectations with compassion and confidence.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts simply.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise complex deals.
- Ability to adapt quickly remain composed under pressure and operate ethically in a fast-paced environment.
