Your Role

We are hiring a motivated Deputy Country Branch Manager! The Deputy Country Branch Manager supports the Country Branch Manager in overseeing and managing the operations of all branches across the Philippines. This role involves assisting with strategic
planning driving sales growth ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and leading the country-wide team. The Deputy Country Branch Manager will serve as the second-in-command and will assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Country Branch Manager ensuring seamless continuity
in operations.

Support to Strategic Leadership:
  • Assist the Country Branch Manager in developing and executing strategic plans to achieve country-wide business objectives.
  • Help align branch operations with global and regional strategies.
  • Provide input on strategic initiatives and contribute to decision-making processes.
Operations Management:
  • Support the Country Branch Manager in overseeing the daily operations of all branches to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Monitor the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) across branches.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national regulatory requirements and company policies.
Sales and Business Development:
  • Assist in driving sales performance across all branches to meet or exceed targets.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities providing insights to refine business strategies.
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Assist in leading and managing a team of branch managers and senior staff.
  • Participate in the recruitment training and development of staff to ensure high performance.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture across the branches.
Financial Management:
  • Assist in managing the country branch budget including financial forecasting and reporting.
  • Support cost control measures and monitor financial performance across branches.
  • Help identify areas for financial improvement and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Support efforts to ensure that all branches provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints and addressing issues promptly and effectively.
  • Help maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients regulatory authorities and other stakeholders.
Reporting and Analysis:
  • Assist in preparing reports on branch performance including sales operations and financial metrics for senior management.
  • Analyze performance data and provide recommendations for operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Country Branch Manager to set and review goals and objectives for the branches.
Acting Role:
  • Assume the responsibilities of the Country Branch Manager during their absence ensuring the continuity of operations and leadership


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or diploma preferably with exposure to the biopharmaceutical sector.
  • Hands-on experience in validation or quality roles within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards (e.g. FDA EMEA GAMP ICH Q7).
  • Solid understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of validation in a GMP-compliant environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and methodical in approach.
  • Collaborative team player with a commitment to safety quality and timely delivery.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision

Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related scientific discipline. Minimum 10 years of hands-on validation experience in GMP environments including equipment utilities and process validation. Minimum 5 years of project management experience leading large-scale CQV capital projects. Demonstrated experience serving as an Owners Representative or leading multi-disciplinary CQV programs. Strong technical background in sterile injectable or combination product manufacturing. Expertise in industry regulations validation standards and risk-based CQV methodologies. Proven ability to manage project schedules budgets and cross-functional teams. Exceptional analytical problem-solving and technical communication skills. Experience with ATEC systems preferred. Willingness to travel as required for project execution and client engagement. Must be authorized to work in the US. No C2C at this time.
