Overview:
LLR Partners is seeking a talented and motivated junior undergraduate student to join our Marketing team for Summer 2026. The Marketing team champions the LLR brand and is responsible for digital and experiential marketing in support of our investment pipeline. Marketing efforts supported by this internship will help LLR earn the trust of exciting growing companies looking to raise capital.
This is an ideal position for students interested in marketing and who can bring both a creative and analytical mindset to the role. This is not a position for someone looking to grow into a career as a private equity investment professional. The Marketing Internship is 10-weeks long beginning in June and ending in August. The role is a full-time position for approximately 40 hours per week. Candidates will be expected to work onsite at LLRs office most days. We are headquartered in Philadelphia in the Cira Centre adjacent to Amtrak 30th Street Station and regional train lines and walkable to both University City and Center City Philadelphia.
The Marketing Intern will support execution of LLRs digital marketing initiatives to help grow the firms reach measure engagement and impact. We aim to differentiate LLR with our target audiences as well as represent the LLR brand as a sharp approachable thoughtful member of our team that is dedicated to adding value internally at LLR and externally with our portfolio companies.
Accountabilities:
- Keep the LLR website and marketing materials up to date with news investments team changes and thought leadership content
- Support LLRs email and social media strategies including posting to LinkedIn creating Google URL tracking links and reviewing our followers for interesting leads
- Create social graphics for LLR investments updates and LLR cultural events new hires interns industry one pagers/LLR overview that advertise LLR teams using Canva while understanding and maintaining a cohesive brand style
- Monitor new content subscribers downloads add new contacts and convert prospects in Salesforce assigning them to the appropriate internal team for follow up
- Monitor portfolio company activity awards and recognitions and news for re-promotions
- Lead content augmentation efforts to secure essential missing data and activate digital and experiential engagement opportunities
- Strengthen internal sales enablement with updated decks and resources
Learning Objectives:
- Develop a working knowledge of a private equity business/sales development process and how strategic marketing helps drive success
- Learn how to be data-driven in all aspects of sales and marketing
- Expand skills using sales & marketing technologies including WordPress Marketo Salesforce Salesloft Canva LinkedIn Tableau
- Understand the dynamics of working in partnership with external agencies designers and marketing firms to execute on projects
- Develop an understanding for how private equity investors evaluate businesses and why a CEO would distinguish LLR from other investors
Skills and Requirements:
- Currently a junior at an accredited university with a graduation date of December 2026/May 2027 marketing or communications majors preferred
- Interest in and ability to review raw data and think bigger about what story it tells
- Problem solvers whose natural curiosity leads to new discoveries and ideas
- Excellent writing communication and interpersonal skills a must
- Self-starter with ability to handle multiple tasks through time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated professionalism and partnership attitude while interacting with vendors and partners
- Experience posting to social media on behalf of a brand a must
- Experience using online graphic design platforms like Canva a must
- Prior experience with website content management systems (CMS) like WordPress a plus
- Experience using databases like Excel or Salesforce a plus
