PLAY DIRECTOR STIPEND

Stipend $1700.00 Annually

REQUIREMENTS TO COACH

To be hired and cleared to applicants must be able complete training certificates for the following courses (Some coursework requires fees these are the responsibility of the coach to pay). Courses will be assigned in our District training system:

Sexual Harassment training

Bloodborne Pathogens training

Youth Suicide Prevention training

Title IX Protecting Students training

Asthma Awareness training

Homeless Education training

Required but not completed in district training system:

Negative TB Test

First Aid/CPR Certificate

Valid Drivers License

State of California Mandated Reporting

The Board of Trustees desires to employ highly qualified coaches for the districts sports and interscholastic athletic programs in order to enhance the knowledge skills motivation and safety of student athletes.

The coach of an athletic team is primarily responsible for the compliance of his/her squad members to the rules regulations and policies governing athletics at his/her assigned school. Compliance is enhanced when athletes are informed of and understand the policies. All coaches are directly responsible to the Athletic Director and Administrator at his/her school for the application of these rules and regulations.

ABOUT THE DISTRICT

River Delta is a K-12 district with an enrollment of 1880. The District has 8 small schools: (4) K-6 elementary schools; (2) middle schools; and (2) high schools serving the communities of Clarksburg Hood Courtland Walnut Grove Ryde Locke Isleton Rio Vista Birds Landing and Collinsville.

The River Delta Unified School District sits in three counties Sacramento Solano and Yolo. Although it is a tri-county district it is served by the Sacramento County Office of Education.

The district encourages advancement on the salary schedule for advanced classes taken to improve instruction in areas agreed upon by the teacher principal and Superintendent.
