Job Title: Waking Night Support Worker

Location: Yorkshire
Salary: 13.52 per hour
Working Hour: Full-time 22:30pm 08:00am 4 nights on / 4 nights off
Hourly Rate: 13.52 per hour
Service: Childrens Home
Service Users: YPs aged 718 Complex Needs Trauma EBD
Qualifications Required: Level 3 / 4 Diploma in Children & Young Peoples Workforce (desirable not essential)
Experience in Years Required: Not essential full training provided
Employment Type: Permanent Full-time

Who we are looking for

We are seeking reliable calm and committed Waking Night Support Workers who are passionate about supporting children and young people during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing positive relationships with young people families and external professionals

  • Supporting emotional wellbeing and maintaining a safe environment overnight

  • Contributing to care plans and risk assessments

  • Maintaining accurate and high-quality records

  • Working independently managing risk and using initiative

Training:

  • 3 weeks classroom-based training

  • 1 week of shadow shifts to ensure confidence and competence
