Job Summary
We are looking for a high-calibre Religious Education ECT for the Humanities faculty at an Outstanding all-through academy in Redbridge. This Full-Time Permanent position starts in September 2026. We are seeking a practitioner who can lead students through complex philosophical and ethical inquiry. You will join a successful Trust of 7 academies providing you with a wealth of expertise and support during your induction years.

Responsibilities
Teach engaging RE lessons that encourage critical thinking and respect for diverse worldviews
Participate in the Trust-wide ECT Programme benefiting from regular CPL and peer observation
Foster a desire in students to explore the varied riches of philosophical and religious traditions
Support the department in maintaining an outstanding quality of teaching and learning
Contribute to the schools ethos of academic excellence and personal growth
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Religious Studies Philosophy or a related subject
Attainment of QTS by September 2026
High standards of professional presentation and punctuality
Must have the right to work in the UK
