LEAP Program Description

Global Solutions Ventures (GSV) a joint-venture partnership between ZemiTek LLC and Dexis Consulting Group is implementing the Long-term Exceptional Technical Assistance Project (LEAP Global) a mechanism originally used by USAID to battle against infectious diseases such as malaria HIV/AIDS tuberculosis neglected tropical diseases and pandemic influenza. As of July 1 2025 LEAP Global transitioned to the U.S. Department of State (DOS). This initiative aims to address the complex human resource challenges faced by national infectious disease programs in the USA-supported countries.

The intervention of this project is to hire and embed technical expert advisors and subject matter experts within government entities. By directly embedding the technical expertise within the national programs LEAP provides long-term sustainable lifesaving support to empower host governments to lead and manage key aspects of their infectious disease portfolios and improve coordination between the U.S. Government and the host country.

As of July 1 2025 LEAP Global transitioned to the U.S. Department of State (DOS).

About the Position

GSV is currently seeking a Project Associate (PA) to support the LEAP Global project team including the Dexis HQ-based Project Management Unit (PMU) with programmatic and administrative support in the day-to-day operations of program management. The PA will work closely with the Program Manager(s) (PM) and Senior Program Manager(s) (SPM) on a range of project management tasks including technical expert advisor recruitment onboarding and ongoing HR logistical support; administrative management of vendors including agreements and invoicing; supporting procurement processes and documentation; contributing to knowledge management and project filing systems; and assisting with budget tracking and expense monitoring.

The PA must be flexible client focused driven and interested in learning the ins and outs of program management. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to teamwork collaboration and learning in order to best contribute to the overall goals and mission of the team.

This is a full-time position based in Arlington VA and will be required to be in the office 1-2 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment efforts for staff and consultants including assisting with employee onboarding.
  • Support project staff with mobilization invoicing travel advances expense reports reimbursements timekeeping etc.
  • Update and maintain project trackers for personnel equipment invoices deliverables and budgets.
  • Collaborate effectively with Dexis home office teams such as HR recruitment finance IT and AP as needed.
  • Support project managers in budgeting and forecasting for internal and external reporting.
  • Organize and update project files and documents in SharePoint regularly.
  • Assist PMs and SPMs in drafting inputs for project deliverables and general administrative and logistics support.
  • Arrange travel logistics including flights hotel reservations travel insurance and visas.
  • Edit format and provide input as applicable to project reports for internal and external use.
  • Support procurement effortsandsubcontracts.
  • Work to ensure compliance withprojectprocessesandcontractual requirements.
  • Help to identify and resolve common problems escalating and tracking more complex issues to their resolution.
  • Interact with stakeholders to exchange and gather information to carry out work tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of bachelors degree in business administration finance or international relations preferred.
  • At least three (3) years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to effectively support multiple fast-paced assignments juggle competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to produce clear compelling and accurate written and oral communications.
  • Interest and ability in learning government contracting procedures and best practices.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively work collaboratively in a small team and flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate support and assist managers team members and project personnel.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communications and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to work in start-up or close-out with non-standard hours as needed.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products.
  • Professional Fluency in English.
  • Experience supporting programming with a USG implementing partner is preferred.

Below is the pay range aligned with this position. When developing a range Dexis evaluates compensation holistically triangulating between external market research our budget for the position and internal equity to arrive at a figure that is fair and competitive. Offers within this range will be based on an individual candidates qualification relevant education and experience skills performance and organizational needs.

Dexis pay range for this role:
$55000$60000 USD
