Kent Place School seeks an Assistant Director of the Ethics Institute for a temporary leave replacement from February through early fall. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong knowledge of ethics the ability to anticipate and respond to ethical issues within our society be an accomplished writer and facilitator and possess the ability to positively collaborate with all constituents in a PS-12th grade community. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to partner in sustaining our mission effectively communicates and is enthusiastic about joining our first-of-its-kind ethics program in a primary and secondary school.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing Lodestar Kent Places student ethics journal and the spring publication.
- Overseeing the Tapping In student podcast and submission to national contests.
- Supporting the application and election process for the Lodestar and REBOOT leadership teams for the 26-27 school year.
- Compiling the Ethics Everywhere newsletter.
- Posting on the Ethics Institutes social media accounts.
- Assisting in The Ethics Institutes four summer programs with content preparation and logistics.
- Assisting in content creation for Ethics Institutes workshops both within and outside of KPS.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to write and edit
- Masters degree preferred
- Availability: Ability to fulfill the duration of the leave
