Job SummaryPosition is responsible for coaching student athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition. Position motivates student athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport and instills a defensive mentality into the DutiesImplementing a schematic philosophy within the an identityRelaying this information to the staff and student-athletesFilm StudyFilm must be watched thoroughly throughout own timeFilm must be prepared for meetings with staffOrganizationClear and defined standards of schemeIn game procedures. Timeout format sideline staff adjustmentsDevelops a regular practice schedule and organizes practice time to provide both individual and team studyWeekly plan according to opponentAll in game scenarios such as groupings position rotation be able to teach and relay information to staff and players everydayIn game communication between staff members (adjustments etc.)Weekly gameplans or adjustments MUST BE TALKED ABOUTConnect with our student-athletesMust be able to build relationships with student-athletes outside the game of football.
