Shaw Industries is looking for Tufting Lead to assistthe supervisor in the daily operation of the shift. To lead tufting associates by minimizing quality and waste as well as maximizing productivity. Tomaintaina safe work environment for all associates. May beto relievereplaceorassistpersonnel for breaks and/or absences.
This position is on 2nd Shift at Plant WE in Chatsworth Ga.

Responsibilities:
Ensure all jobs are performed correctly. This includes but is not limited tocreelercreeleroperator operator lift truck operatoryarn clerk coordinator and raw material technician.
Assistwith on-the-job training with all new associates.
Assistwith the solutionofany production problems.
Oversee and help set up tests and experiments.
Assistsupervisor with managing the floor and the flow of material.
Assistin keeping work areas in a clean orderly manner.
Perform daily audits.
Fill in for supervisor when needed.
