Pay Rate: $21.00/hour $0.75/hour shift differential

Position Summary

A leading aerospace manufacturing facility is seeking a 2nd Shift Material Handler to support operations within a machine shop environment. This role is responsible for safely moving staging and supplying materials to production areas while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting overall workflow efficiency.

The ideal candidate has forklift experience understands shop-floor environments and can work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials work-in-process and finished goods
Load and unload materials from designated storage and production areas
Stage materials for machining and production operations
Maintain accurate material flow within the machine shop
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Keep work areas clean organized and compliant with safety standards
Communicate material needs and shortages to supervisors or team members
Support production and warehouse teams as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid forklift certification (standard forklift)
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Experience working in a manufacturing warehouse or machine shop environment
Strong attention to safety and detail
Ability to stand walk and lift materials throughout the shift

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a machine shop or aerospace manufacturing environment
Experience handling raw materials and machined parts
