WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Governance & Framework Development
o Maintain and evolve the IT Asset Management (ITAM) framework.
o Define and update minimum standards practices and retention guidelines for IT assets.
o Integrate ITAM processes into internal governance systems and performance management tools.
Expert Network & Committee Coordination
o Establish and manage an expert network of ITAM Practice Managers and Inventory Owners to promote knowledge sharing and best practices.
o Plan moderate and document topic-specific meetings and committees (e.g. IT Steering Board security boards).
o Prepare decision-making materials and monthly ITAM reports for management.
Process & Documentation Management
o Create and maintain structured documentation pages (inventory status FAQs ITAM guidelines) in internal repositories.
o Ensure process documentation reflects current release cycles and governance requirements.
o Develop and implement automation concepts for inventory review processes.
Inventory Review & Optimization
o Execute ITAM inventory reviews measure KPIs and prepare reports aligned with corporate standards.
o Identify and implement measures for improving data quality in asset management tools (e.g. ServiceNow LeanIX).
o Manage integration of additional inventories and information assets into ITAM processes.
Compliance & Audit Readiness
o Support audit preparation and action tracking for ITAM-related findings.
o Implement measures to achieve required maturity levels and NIS2 readiness.
o Provide evidence for closing audit findings and coordinate cross-departmental collaboration.
Interface Management
o Define and maintain interfaces between ITAM and related domains (risk management business continuity).
o Develop concepts for handling information assets (including data and AI) within ITAM governance.
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG
Core GRC & ITAM Expertise
o Strong understanding of IT Asset Management principles and governance frameworks.
o Experience with NIST800-53 ISO 27001 VDA ISA NIS2 compliance requirements.
o Familiarity with handling information assets and integrating them into ITAM processes.
Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge
o Knowledge of GDPR and EU AI Act implications for asset management.
o Ability to prepare for audits and implement maturity models.
Technical & Process Skills
o Proficiency with ITAM tools and platforms (e.g. LeanIX) and GRC systems (Confluence SharePoint Jira).
o Experience in KPI definition reporting and process optimization.
o Understanding of automation concepts for inventory management.
Project & Communication Skills
o Skilled in planning and moderating committees and workshops.
o Strong documentation and reporting capabilities for governance and audit purposes.
Methodologies
o Familiarity with agile project management and continuous improvement practices.
