About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a salesperson who has prior experience generating new revenue from existing & prospective clients. The SMB Senior Commercial Executive combines an excellent knowledge of the FMCG industry and a deep understanding of NIQ products and services.
The SMB Senior Commercial Executive is responsible for deepening relationships and driving sales and renewals across the NieslenIQ suite of products and ensuring effective account planning and management across an assigned client portfolio.
Your Responsibilities:
Developing a deep understanding of clientindustry/business to plan/execute sales strategies to drive contract renewals
Build and Maintain strong senior relationships securing new revenue opportunities for both short and long cycles
Proactively expanding client networkbuilding and owning local customer relationships
Unlock new local stakeholders / buyer personas / budget holders across the account
Collecting and sharing Voice of Customerthrough ongoing client interactions
Partnering with SMB Customer Successto develop and execute Account Plans and JBPs
Be the voice of the client within NIQJBP processes with your Customer Success counterparts and be a point of escalation for the client for any problems that need support solving directly or across teams
Work collaboratively with other teams within NIQ to maximise the client experience.
Owns prospectingand identification of local selling opportunitiesfor the generalist product set
Bring in the right sales and product specialists and customer success resources to support local account; Orchestrate local client relationships across roles
Owning the forecasting and achievement of revenue targetsfor your client portfolio
Ensure Internal Account Management files are accurately maintained and up to date i.e. financial targets proposal submissions revenue on hand pipeline etc.
About You:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a commercial role.
Strong client-facing and communication skills.
A proven track record in Sales.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
A proven ability to generate business across a portfolio of existing clients.
An understanding of the issues facing FMCG manufacturer and retailers.
FMCG experience and understanding of data would be an advantage.
Very strong business English both verbal and written.
Numerical literacy.
Strong time management / project management skills.
Team player.
Comfortable working in a digital enabled environment.
Have the legal right to live and work in Ireland.
