Reporting to the Finance Controller (CFO) for Hach and OTT India the Financial Planning & Reporting Manager is responsible for the Monthly Financial reporting Planning Forecasting Budgeting and Analysis for both Hach and OTT business in India.
This position is part of the Finance Department located in Bangalore location and will be on hybrid work model.
In this role a typical day will look like:
- All Financial Reporting with detailed analysis and qualitative comments.
- Prepare monthly rolling forecast in coordination with the commercial team and other functions.
- Help GM and Finance controller in finalizing the Annual budget for Hach and OTT with trend analysis and variance comments. Create monthly and Quarterly phasing.
- Update month KPI bowlers with Financial data and comments for Ops review. Partner with Commercial leaders and General Manager to provide Financial rationals profitability and sustainability for critical deals and opportunities.
- To keep regular track of Working capital movements and work closely with Supply chain team in procurement planning and AR team on collection progress.
- Hold regular cadence with Accounting and Cross functional team such as Sales Service Supply Chain Customer Support Human Resources Marketing etc. to get inputs on market update operational issues commercial updates and identify any risk or upside opportunity against forecast.
- Make Sales productivity analysis to support in Hiring and investment decisions.
- Work out the list price with price increase target to mitigate the Transfer price impact forecast price stick impact and finalize the same with GM and Finance controller
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Chartered Accountant with a Bachelors Degree in Financial accounting and commerce from a reputable University/college.
- Additional qualification of Cost accountant from ICWA would be preferred
- CPA from the USA will be an added value.
- Relevant experience of 5-8 years in Financial Planning in a multinational organisation.
- Good hands on knowledge of Microsoft 365 Tools.
- Knowledge of PBI will be an added advantage
- Experience working in Oracle or SAP is desired
- Should be a good team player within function and with cross functional team
- Excellent command over English speaking writing and understanding international accents.
- Ability to handle difficult situations and manage the show or resolve the issue in the interest of the organization.
- Excellent knowledge and practical understanding of applicable Indian accounting policy tax regulation Indian accounting standards and US GAAP.
- Strong accounting background especially in revenue/expense recognition rules
- Independent and strong sense of integrity.
- Proficiency in analysis of financial results to identify variations and trends that indicate possible exposures and the need for countermeasures.
- Experience in strengthening Internal Controls.
- Working capital analysis and management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills comfortable working with matrix environment and multi-functional teams within the organization.
