Summary:
The Injury Prevention & Trauma Operations Coordinator supports the Trauma Service by providing administrative organizational and operational coordination for trauma operations and the Injury Prevention Program. This role exists to strengthen injury prevention efforts support trauma program operations enhance community outreach and education and ensure effective coordination of trauma-related initiatives in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Develops and delivers injury prevention curriculum presenting evidence-informed and/or evidence-based programs across the lifespan to clinical and community audiences.
2. Coordinates injury prevention initiatives in collaboration with interdisciplinary clinical teams and community partners to support outreach and education efforts.
3. Serves as the onsite Trauma Survivors Network Coordinator including oversight of program activities and maintenance of related program resources.
4. Provide administrative support to the trauma operations team including scheduling meetings managing calendars preparing correspondence and coordinating logistics.
5. Supports trauma program quality improvement initiatives through data tracking documentation support and coordination of improvement activities.
6. Assists with patient screening activities including alcohol use disorder screening in accordance with established protocols.
7. Maintain accurate records and documentation to support compliance with regulatory standards accreditation requirements and program reporting.
8. Prepares reports presentations and educational materials to support trauma operations injury prevention programming and leadership needs.
9. Assists the Trauma Program Manager with special projects and program-related initiatives as assigned.
10. Maintains and Models the Organizations values.
11. Demonstrates regular reliable and predictable attendance.
12. Performs other duties as required.
Other Information:
Must have a valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation as may be required to travel within the community for outreach and educational programming.
Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support programs and events.
