Job Summary
In this role you play a critical role in overseeing the quality planning and productivity of Pneumatics and Hydraulics and related processes to ensure operational excellence through effective day-to-day management.
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading and motivating a team of production staff
- Managing and fostering a positive productive and safe work environment
- Planning organising and overseeing daily production activities to meet targets and deadlines
- Implementing and maintaining quality control processes to ensure products meet required standards
- Fostering a culture of discipline and continuous improvement driving enhancements to the work environment to support long term efficiency and team performance
Qualifications :
Qualifications & Technical knowledge
- HND or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
- Management level qualification or significant experience of leading a team
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification
Skills required:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy including proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems
- Flexible self-motivated and enthusiastic with a can do attitude
- Strong team player who collaborates well with others
