As a Sales Manager - Account Management DACH (m/f/d) you will nurture relationships and drive growth within our existing account portfolio. Youll champion Freshworks products by helping organizations work smarter achieve stronger outcomes and deliver outstanding experiences. What you will do:
Engage discover & drive results: Develop and execute customer-focused account plans exceeding revenue targets through upsell cross-sell renewals and new opportunities.
Articulate Value: Be a strategic partner understanding customer challenges connecting solutions to real-world outcomes and engaging executives in impactful conversations and results. Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to represent our solutions with confidence.
Execute the Sales Process: Lead and close complex enterprise deals with mastery building alignment across C-level stakeholders negotiating value-based agreements and driving opportunities to successful outcomes.
Learn & Collaborate: Work with colleagues across Customer Success Implementations Billing Deal Desk Pre-Sales and Marketing to ensure seamless customer experiences. Share your expertise by mentoring and supporting teammates in their growth.
Hunt & Prospect: Build and maintain a strong pipeline track and leverage opportunities with accuracy and use data-driven insights to refine strategies. Be open to traveling as required to customer sites and industry events to represent Freshworks.
Qualifications :
Experience that counts: 8 years in software sales with a track record of success in growing existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell strategies and a consistent record of meeting or exceeding goals.
Strategic mindset: Proven ability to design and execute account plans while engaging confidently with executives technical experts and operational teams alike.
Consultative approach: Skilled in building strong business cases and ROI stories that resonate with diverse stakeholders.
Strong communicator: Excellent presentation listening and communication skills that foster value-driven collaborative conversations.
Domain knowledge: Familiarity with the CRM CX or ITSM space is a strong plus though a willingness to learn and adapt is equally valued.
Native-level fluency in the German language is a must.
