Job Summary
- Administer SQL Server databases on OLAP and OLTP platforms.
- Monitor and optimize database performance including query tuning and indexing.
- Manage data replication partitioning and integration processes.
- Automate database tasks and workflows using PowerShell scripting.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure data availability security and integrity.
- Support large-scale data handling (>1TB datasets) and complex data operations.
- Use monitoring tools such as HP OpenView and CA Harvest to track system performance.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience (minimum 4 years) as a SQL Server DBA in high-complexity environments.
- Strong knowledge of MS SQL including Replication Services and Service Broker.
- Solid experience with Windows Server environments.
- Expertise in T-SQL for database development and optimization.
- Experience with OLAP/OLTP platforms and large-scale data management.
- Familiarity with data tools such as SSRS SSAS and SSIS.
- Strong scripting skills especially with PowerShell for automation.
- Optional but valued: knowledge of Python and Git for database and automation tasks.
- Ability to troubleshoot cluster environments and high-availability setups.
